Our Lady of Fatima's Message for Today's World

On May 13, 1917, Lucia dos Santos, Francisco Marto and Jacinta Marto were on a small property belonging to Lucia’s parents called Cova da Iria about a mile and a half from Fatima, Portugal.

At just ten, nine, and seven years old, respectively, the children had previously witnessed three apparitions of the Angel of Portugal in 1916, but this day was different. This time, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta received a visit from a luminous Lady who would later identify herself as “The Lady of the Rosary.” In Catholic language, “Our Lady of the Rosary” is the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God made man.

From that day through October 1917, Our Lady would appear to the children a total of 6 times on the 13th day of each month with a message from God to every man, woman and child. And given the current state of our nation and the world, that message is more important than ever.
