Protest… the IMPURE MALICE!… of David Protein Bars’ Instagram Ad
Defend the Sacrament of Confession!
A company selling protein bars has decided to needlessly ridicule the Sacrament of Confession in a recent Instagram commercial.
Please take 30 seconds to sign this petition demanding that David Protein Bars cancel this blasphemy immediately!
The ad starts with actress Julia Fox, provocatively dressed and holding a rosary in her hands. She is depicted making a “confession” to a man dressed as a priest.
While those details are already bad enough, it gets worse when she makes several hyper-sexual innuendos. Unfortunately, they were not merely subtle implications. Her language calls to mind explicit sexual acts, leaving no doubts as to what she is referring.
The exact wording is too indecent for me to include here. It’s abhorrent.
On social media, the ad’s caption cynically states: “Indulgence you won’t have to repent for.”
Shameless mockeries of the Catholic Faith like this one will only stop if faithful devotees of Our Lady, like you and me, raise our voices in holy indignation.
We need to prayerfully protest this blasphemy and demand its immediate cancellation.
