The murderous Pharisees blasphemously mocked our crucified Lord Jesus Christ when they said–

“Vah! Thou that destroyest the temple of God, and in three days dost rebuild it: save thy own self: if thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.”

Now, 'in the same spirit’, an online retailer is doing the same as those Pharisees.

Please send your immediate e-protest against the blasphemous product that the online retail platform Etsy is selling on its site.

Obscure City LLC is selling its blasphemous item, “The Original BunJesus – Bungee Jumping Jesus.”

The product mocks Our Crucified Lord by advertising, “TAKE THE LEAP OF FAITH! Are you religious with a sense of humor? Is your personal Jesus a fun-loving Jesus? Are you tired of other religions having fun idols while yours is sad and a bit macabre?”

This reeks of sarcastic mockery of perhaps the holiest act ever performed for sinful mankind: the crucifixion of the Son of God.

Arrogantly ‘proud’ of their blasphemy, Obscure City LLC’s Etsy product description deliberately and maliciously includes textual mockery of Our Lord’s holy and Supreme Sacrifice on the cross.

Here are some direct quotes from their “Item details” that reflect their hateful mockery:

  • Just like Christian apologetics, you can pick, choose, and customize your BunJesus experience to fit in your home and conform to your opinions. We have 20 different kinds of cords to choose from! [The #1 cord used in the ad is, naturally,rainbow colored, entitled “Prideful” ~ ~ Robert]

  • In the shipped package we also enclose a gold "INRI" plaque. The plaque is not adhered to the cross; therefore, it is not a true "crucifix." (See how we are narrowly skirting damnation there? Wheewww... That was close!)

Obscure City LLC’s mockery of Our Lord runs so deep that they made sure even the color of the actual bungee cord attaching the ‘Corpus’ to the wood of the cross carries additional insults.

The description indicates they offer 20 bungee cord colors in a hierarchy, from which you may choose to suspend the ‘Corpus of Jesus.’ They offer a rainbow-colored “Prideful” bungee cord (#1), followed by 19 other blasphemous insinuations.
