December 31: Pope Saint Sylvester I, reigned during the time when Christianity was made legal in the Roman Empire. He also contributed to the development of the Roman liturgy.

June 7: Saint Anthony Gianelli was given the unusual privilege of being allowed to preach while still a subdeacon. He later became Bishop and founded 3 religious orders.
