June 5: Saint Boniface dedicated himself to the monastic life at age 5. He was offered the position of abbot, but opted for missionary work instead, converting many souls.
May 28: Saint Germanus of Paris was blessed with the gift of miracles even in his early priesthood. His sermons moved many hearts and reformed the moral life of Paris.
May 21: Saint Christopher Magallanes was a holy priest in Mexico who was martyred by Mexico's athiestic government without fair trial, along with 21 other priests and 3 laymen.
May 29: Saint William and his companions were sent to Toulouse to address the Albigensian heresy. They were murdered by the local politician and martyred.
May 8: Saint Magdalena had a dream in which Our Lady showed her needy girls, poor children and sick people. She founded the Canossians order to help the less fortunate.
May 5: Saint Hilary helped establish monasteries, and strengthened the discipline and orthodoxy of the Church through several councils. He sold Church property to ransom those kidnapped, and is said to have worked miracles in his lifetime.
May 3: Saint Philip, was the third apostle, after Andrew and Peter; Saint James "the lesser" was a brother of John and was also known as “James the Just”.
April 23: Saint George was a high ranking officer of the Roman Army. Since Roman soldiers were banned from practicing Christianity, St. George was tortured and martyred for his Faith.
April 25: Saint Mark the Evangelist, author of the 2nd gospel, accompanied Saints Peter, Paul, and Barnabas in their missionary work.
May 9: Pachomius heard a voice which instructed him to build a monastery. This monastery rapidly grew, so much that he built ten more to house more monks.
