America Rallies to Keep Christ in Christmas

Against a backdrop of politicized nativity scenes, blasphemous “Christmas” shows, and over-hyped commercialization of a most holy day, thousands of Americans stood tall to remind us to “Keep Christ in Christmas.” These faithful gathered at 1,157 individual rosary rallies, organized through America Needs Fatima, to publicly pray the rosary and observe the season of Advent, joyously preparing for the arrival of the baby Jesus.

Today’s secular culture regularly mocks God, Our Lady, Catholics, and the traditional family. While the nativity stands as the most important event in history, it is blasphemed in many ways. Many churches have set up nativity scenes that highlight political subjects instead of the birth of Christ and Christmas-themed drag queen shows celebrate crude distortions of holy and innocent traditions. One irreverent play, “An Act of God,” outrageously mocks God the Father and The Ten Commandments, continues to be performed during Christmas. Additionally, American retailers have co-opted the Christmas season as simply an “annual holiday shopping blitz” that is expected to generate more than $1 trillion in sales this year. In each of these cases, the true meaning of Christmas is nowhere to be found.

To counter these blatant assaults on our faith, America Needs Fatima mobilized 1,157 dedicated rosary rally captains to gather friends and family in the public square to pray the rosary and make reparations. These true warriors of Christ took time out of their busy schedules to slow down and openly celebrate the birth of Our Lord and Savior and prayerfully protest against those who offend God. They held vibrant “Keep Christ in Christmas” banners as well as other posters and signs to remind passersby of the true reason for the season.

Testimonials

Here are just a few testimonials from the rallies that took place across the nation during Advent:

Rally captain Barbara V., Naples, Fla., said, “We had 13 prayer warriors. A few honked horns in agreement. We are blessed to aid Our Lady.”

“We held our Keep Christ in Christmas Rosary Rally at the busy intersection of Saviers Road and Bard Road,” said Petronila N., a rally captain from Oxnard, Calif. “Twenty-three prayer warriors and families peacefully prayed the Holy Rosary and other prayers in English and Spanish, while others held banners, signs and a picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Several passing vehicles honked in support. We concluded with fellowship and light refreshments. We went our separate ways with our hearts full of love and joy, knowing that we offered our prayers and sacrifices to bravely evangelize and witness to Keeping Christ in Christmas, the true reason for the season.”

“We stood with our signs ‘Keep Christ in Christmas’ and ‘The Immaculate Heart of Mary will Triumph’ whilst we prayed,” said Carol Z., rally captain from Clearwater, Fla. “Just two souls representing God and we will do it again next week. Whether people show up or not, I am determined to make reparation to the Immaculate Heart of my dearest Mother, who by her tears, saved my soul through the rosary and brought me to her Son. He who rendered His flesh and Blood to save me, and to buy me at a high cost. It is the least that I can do for them both. Praise be to God, King of Endless Glory.”

“Christ, the eternal Word made flesh, came to dwell among us, first as a babe in a manger, the most noble of births in the humblest of surroundings,” said Robert E. Ritchie, executive director of America Needs Fatima. “We marvel at the miracle of His birth, life, death, and resurrection which, of course, are the foundation of our faith and the source of our hope. We pray that our fellow countrymen will come to see this truth and God’s love for us, end their painful mockery, and join us in working toward the salvation of souls.”

This year, America Needs Fatima is challenging every person to become a rosary rally captain in honor of a loved one who is sick, who died, or who is facing certain hardships. To join thousands of Catholics in this endeavor for Our Lady, visit Rosary Rally Central to sign up as a captain for any rosary rally being held in 2026.
