24,700 Rosary Rally Captains Honored at Fatima
On the evening of October 12, as pilgrims gathered at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal, something extraordinary was taking place.
Among the hundreds of thousands of faithful honoring the Blessed Mother was a special banner bearing the names of 24,700 Rosary Rally Captains who had answered Our Lady's call to pray the rosary publicly across America. These devoted Catholics could not all travel to Fatima in person, but their names were there, carried in procession at the very place where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children in 1917.
Along with those names came something equally precious: the gratitude, sacrifices and prayers of thousands of Catholics who love Our Lady and strive to spread her message.

A Beautiful Tribute to Our Lady
October 12 and 13 were especially meaningful for those who traveled to the famous Portuguese shrine to honor the Blessed Mother and to thank her for the thousands of Public Square Rosary Rallies held across America. All 24,700 rosary rally captains' names had been carefully printed on a large banner, ensuring that each captain would be remembered in this special tribute.

On the evening of October 12, the banner was carried during the candlelight procession at Fatima, a powerful reminder of the spiritual bond uniting Catholics across the ocean.
Imagine the significance of that moment!
From bustling American cities to quiet country towns, thousands of faithful Catholics gathered in public squares, parks, and along busy streets to pray the rosary and proclaim their devotion to the Mother of God. Now, their names were being carried in procession at the very shrine where Our Lady had requested the daily rosary for peace and for the conversion of sinners.
It was a beautiful way of bringing their efforts back to the feet of the Blessed Mother.
Red Roses for the Queen of Heaven
The following day, October 13, the anniversary of the great Miracle of the Sun, provided another fitting occasion for thanksgiving.
ANF representatives presented the banner bearing the rosary rally captains' names at the Chapel of the Apparitions, along with two magnificent arrangements of red roses. The flowers were offered in thanksgiving for the Public Square Rosary Rallies and for the generous Catholics who made them possible.

Red roses, traditionally associated with love and devotion, were an especially fitting gift for the Blessed Mother. Each arrangement conveyed what words alone could scarcely express: gratitude for Our Lady's maternal care and a heartfelt desire to honor her more faithfully.
But the rosary rally captains were not the only ones remembered! Another beautiful bouquet of roses was presented on behalf of all America Needs Fatima's monthly donors. Through their faithful, ongoing support, these generous benefactors help ANF spread devotion to Our Lady and share the Fatima message with countless souls across America.
Although many of these donors may never have the opportunity to visit Fatima themselves, they were represented by this floral offering placed before Our Lady.
Your Prayer Intentions Were Brought to Fatima
Perhaps one of the most touching aspects of this pilgrimage was the personal prayer intentions entrusted to America Needs Fatima. These intentions, sent by faithful supporters throughout the year, were carefully printed and delivered to the Chapel of the Apparitions.
Behind every intention was a human story.
A mother praying for a wayward child. A family facing illness or financial hardship. Someone pleading for a loved one's conversion. Another asking Our Lady for strength to bear a heavy cross. Whatever the request, each intention was an act of confidence in the Blessed Mother's powerful intercession.
At the chapel, ANF representatives prayed for the intentions of all donors and rosary rally captains, entrusting their needs, families and spiritual struggles to Our Lady of Fatima.

United at the Feet of Our Lady
These two days at Fatima were a heartfelt expression of gratitude and a reminder that spreading devotion to Our Lady is the work of a great spiritual family. The 24,700 rosary rally captains, the monthly donors and all those who sent prayer intentions were united in spirit at the Chapel of the Apparitions.
And as America Needs Fatima continues its mission, may this beautiful tribute inspire every supporter to persevere in prayer, confident that Our Blessed Mother hears the petitions of her devoted children.
