Pro-Life Rosary Rallies Held Across America
In an effort to remind the country that all life is precious and the sin of abortion will have disastrous consequences for the nation, tens of thousands of Americans gathered at 1,065 rosary rallies this past weekend. These pro-life rosary rallies, organized by America Needs Fatima, are held annually on the Saturday after the national March for Life in Washington, D.C.
Thus, on January 24, many rallies took place in front of abortion clinics, on busy street corners, and in other highly visible locations across the country. They were attended by men and women of all ages.
Contrary to the liberal narrative, Americans are becoming more pro-life, not less. According to a June 2025 Gallup report, 43 percent of Americans identify as pro-life (up from 41 percent in 2024) and 48 percent of Americans said they preferred abortion to be illegal in all or nearly all circumstances (up from 45 percent in 2024).
While these statistics are heading in the right direction, they are far from ideal. That’s why the rallies are so important. Since they are scattered all over the country, they can better send the message that all Americans must become pro-life and view all life, created by God, as precious.

Rally captains reported great success during their rallies. “The rally was with my neighbors’ boys and my own kids,” said Ken E., from Jurupa Valley, Calif. “It was chilly and windy, but we were warmed by people who honked and gave us a thumbs up.

“Despite the cold, two of us met for the rosary rally,” Juanita Flores, a rally captain from Chicago said. “We both said ‘yes’ no matter the cold elements we would have to face. We were both happy to do this rally.”

Rally captain Cindy M. from Rapid City, Iowa, said 30 people joined their Pro-Life Rosary Rally, and rally captain Veronica G., from Okeechobee Fla., reported, “Everything went smooth and we had a few honks in support.”

Ron C. from Laurel, Maryland, included a Marian rosary prayer procession along with his Pro-Life Rosary Rally. “Our procession started with Marian songs, a rosary and prayers at St. Vincent Pallotti High School and we then processed to the Pallotti Convent, where we prayed the Litany of Our Lady of Fatima and other prayers,” he said. “Lastly, we processed to a nearby Catholic cemetery, where we prayed litanies before the Memorial of the Unborn and a statute of Our Blessed Mother.”

Sandy W. from Haskell, N.J. said “We assembled at noon to pray the rosary for the protection of life from conception to natural death. We had 17 people in attendance and prayed for the end of abortion as well as for the return of prayer to our schools.”

“Our national pro-life rosary rallies have become one of the most powerful ways to deliver a visual message that prayer to Our Lady is crucial to protecting life at every stage,” said Robert E. Ritchie, executive director of America Needs Fatima. “We console Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart by praying that abortion will be eliminated from our culture and country. We ask her to protect pregnant women in crisis, their babies in the womb, and the fathers. We also pray for the repentance and conversion of those who work in the abortion industry. Public prayer puts us on the path to healing.”

This year, America Needs Fatima is challenging every person to become a rosary rally captain in honor of a loved one who is sick, died, or is facing certain hardships.
